01
Do I need to be flexible already?
No, and that's rather the point. Every stretch has a version that works from a chair or standing, and the instructions tell you where you should feel it rather than how far you should go. If a stretch doesn't reach you, it still counts.
02
How long does a session actually take?
Three to six minutes. Unstick Your Neck is three. You can add or remove time on any stretch before you start if you want to go longer.
03
Do I need a mat, or space to lie down?
Not for all of it. Unstick Your Neck and Nowhere to Lie Down are done standing or seated, fully dressed, in roughly a square metre. Be Kind to Your Back and Happy Hips do want the floor.
04
What's free and what isn't?
Unstick Your Neck is free forever — the whole routine, not a preview. The other three routines and the full 30-stretch library are part of the subscription, which starts with a 7-day free trial. The price is shown in your own currency on the App Store and in the app before you commit to anything.
05
Can I make a stretch shorter?
Yes — tap the minus on any stretch before you start, and Lucy remembers it for next time. Nothing has to be done at the length we picked.
06
How do I cancel?
Through Apple, not through us: Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancel any time during the trial and you aren't charged. We can't cancel it for you, and we never see your payment details.
07
Do I need an account?
No. There is no signup, no login, no email and no password anywhere in Lucy. It works offline, on a plane, with no signal at all.
08
Is it safe for my back / neck / knee?
Lucy is a stretching app, not a clinician, and it doesn't know your history. If something hurts, stop. If you have an injury, a condition, or you're pregnant or postpartum, talk to a professional before starting. Please read the Fitness & Safety Disclaimer — it's short and it's the honest version.
09
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Lucy is iPhone-only for now, iOS 18 and up.
